How to play Mic Drop
Overview
Mic Drop is a karaoke party game that tests your lyrical knowledge!
No microphone is used — you sing out loud over your own voice chat (or in the same room), and your friends are the judges.
Every round, a different word is shown.
Players buzz in for a chance to sing a song containing that word.
Other players can vote to give the singer a point – but only if they sing a real song and incorporate the word.
If players vote not to award points, other players can buzz in again!
Scoring points and winning
The first player to buzz in gets a chance to sing. They must sing a real song containing the word.
Players can still score by singing a variant of the displayed word.
For instance, if the word is "rock," you can also sing lyrics with "rocking," "rocked," "rocks," "rocker," and so on.
In the event of a tie in votes, points will be awarded. The first player to score 5 points wins!
