Finish the lyrics — flipped
In a finish-the-lyrics game, someone reads a line and you complete it. Fun — until the playlist isn't yours. Mic Drop flips the format: you get a single word, and you pick the song. Any real song containing that word counts.
Why the flip is better with a group
- Every music taste can win. The word is FIRE? Sing Alicia Keys, Johnny Cash, or a Disney number. Nobody is stuck on a playlist they don't know.
- It rewards nerve, not trivia. The buzzer goes to whoever commits first — half the fun is watching someone buzz and then visibly regret it.
- Judging is the game. Friends vote 👍/👎 on whether that was a real song with the word in it. Arguments encouraged.
How a round goes
- Everyone joins a room from a link — phones and laptops both work.
- A word appears. First buzz claims the mic.
- Sing your line over the group's voice chat (the game itself uses no microphone).
- Votes decide the point. First to 5 wins — about 15 minutes a game.
